Warpzone for Linux
===================

An 8-bit / 2A03 chiptune synthesizer. This archive contains the Linux build
(x86-64): the VST3 and CLAP plugins and the standalone app.

Install
-------
./install.sh Install for you only (no root). Default.
./install.sh --system Install for all users (needs sudo).
  ./install.sh --uninstall Remove it again.

Prefer package-manager integration? Grab the .deb (Debian/Ubuntu/Mint/Pop) or
the .rpm (Fedora/openSUSE) from the same download page instead.

Where things go (per-user install)
-----------------------------------
  VST3 ~/.vst3/Warpzone.vst3
  CLAP ~/.clap/Warpzone.clap
  Standalone ~/.local/bin/Warpzone (+ an app-menu launcher)

Restart your DAW after installing so it rescans plugins.

Requirements
------------
x86-64, a desktop with X11. The standalone uses ALSA for audio. These runtime
libraries must be present (they almost always already are; the .deb/.rpm pull
  them in automatically):
libc, libstdc++, libGL, libX11, libXext, libXinerama, libXrandr, libXcursor,
    freetype, fontconfig, ALSA (libasound), libcurl

  Debian/Ubuntu: sudo apt install libgl1 libx11-6 libxext6 libxinerama1 \
                    libxrandr2 libxcursor1 libfreetype6 libfontconfig1 \
                    libasound2 libcurl4
Fedora: sudo dnf install mesa-libGL libX11 libXext libXinerama \
libXrandr libXcursor freetype fontconfig alsa-lib libcurl

Tested on Ubuntu 22.04+; works on Debian 12, Mint, Pop!_OS, Fedora, and Arch.
